After a well-attended friends meeting held today some events have been decided for the Spring term. We also have some interest in the committee roles; however we would like to have an additional meeting on Thursday 12th March at 8.30 to elect members in their roles.

The Annual General Meetings are a forum for information for all parents, carers and staff. We will review the past academic year’s fundraising activities, profits made and agreed funding. As is the process, existing Committee members will stand down at the AGM and all parents, carers and staff of Westminster Cathedral are eligible to nominate themselves, seconded by another, to join the Committee and fulfil a role for the following year.

These roles are: Chair, Vice -Chair, Secretary, Vice Secretary, Treasurer and Vice-Treasurer. If you wish to nominate or be nominated to sit on the new Committee, please attend the meeting on Thursday 12th March. At the first Committee meeting (immediately after the AGM) the Committee will elect among themselves, people into each of the available roles, which require an additional commitment of time.

If the Committee roles are not for you, there are also Helper Roles - these roles play a significant part in the running of FoWCPS and you can attend committee meetings as a FoWCPS Helpers, however, do not have voting rights. If you would like to know more about either of these, please do get in touch and we will send you a description of what each role entails.

Every parent and carer at Westminster Cathedral is automatically a member of the Friends of Westminster Cathedral and we rely on your support to volunteer, donate and attend our events throughout the academic year, all the money we raise goes straight to the school and we look forward to letting you know how the school has been spending the money we raised at events last year.
