Trip to the Transport Museum

On Thursday morning Year 1 and 2 went to the transport museum by bus.

When we got there we put our coats and bags in two separate trollies.

Next we met a lady who asked us to find lots of different things in the museum.

The lady told us about the first electric train.  These trains didn’t have maps in the carriages so someone stood at each platform and shouted out the name of the station.

We saw lots of old trains, trams and buses.  One of the buses was used as an ambulance in the first world war.

We really enjoyed going on the stamper trail, where got our cards stamped at different points in the museum.

Lauren  “I really enjoyed sitting in the old trains”

Thomas  “I like looking at the trains”

Frank “I like the part were the child had to collect the manure left by horses”

Anamaria, Oscar, Neymar and Henry all enjoyed pretending to be lost property officers.

Jayden, Hannah Mae, enjoyed being station announcers.

Thank you Year 1 for your fantastic report.
