Cotter Cup

As you know each term the Cotter Cup is presented to the pupil who has made exceptional academic progress and has demonstrated and shown their positive attitude to their work and growth mind-set.

This term I am pleased to announce the Cotter Cup is not being presented to one pupil but one family -2 pupils. Congratulations Jessica and Daniel Nugent (Yr 6 and Yr 4) I have heard such wonderful things about how much effort these pupils put into their work and the commitment they are showing.

“From the very first few weeks in September Daniel has demonstrated a willingness and determination to learn. This has meant that he has made exceptional progress since the start of the year. He has tried challenges when he feels that he needs to be stretched but he has also persevered when work is challenging. Well done Daniel, I am so proud of your achievements so far and hope it continues throughout the summer term! “ Miss Figueiredo

“Jessica has made exceptional progress this year in all areas of learning and across a range of subjects. She has proven to be an extremely hardworking, dedicated and conscientious student this year. Her engagement to learning in class is admirable but her dedication to self study at home and her additional commitment to learning outside of the classroom is exceptional and has not gone unnoticed. Jessica has made every effort to further challenge herself or revise taught material at home and this has impressed me so much. She has shown an incredible enthusiasm for learning and I am extremely proud of her. Well done Jessica, You have been a pleasure to teach and I wish you all the best.” Miss Lee

“Jessica and Daniel are both incredibly hard working, determined and talented pupils. They always ensure they give their very best. A credit to themselves, their family and the school. It is a pleasure working with them.” Mrs Beth
