Year 5 Assembly

Wednesday 13th March, Year 5 led the school assembly. The theme of their assembly was MEMORIES

The class shared a beautiful story about an elderly lady who was losing her memory. A young boy asked people in his community what a memory is. In his learning what a memory is and seeing his elderly friend lose her memory, the young boy helped gather items to help her remember. Year 5 also shared their memories and their memories and learning experiences whilst in Year 5. They shared some of their work. One piece of homework was for the children to imagine they were Jesus at the Last Supper and to place themselves as Jesus looking around at his friends and having certain memories. The class shared their learning about Growth Mindset and sang a song linked to Growth Mindset and never giving up but learn from our experiences to continue to improve and do better.
