New Year Mass with Canon Pat

On Wednesday 17th January Father Pat came to school to lead our first Mass of 2018. The children were pleased to see him and we all shared a lovely celebration. Within his sermon, Father Pat shared his experience when visiting our twin parish in Turkana, Kenya. Father Pat told us about the children that attend the school and how they value their education. He asked us to be grateful and thankful for the education and opportunities we all have. He shared a story of a girl he is ensuring receives an education at the Queen of Peace Primary School.
