British Army Visits
Monday 27th June 2016
This morning we were visited by two members of the British Army. They told us about their job and how they train. They showed us some of their uniform and a few children had the chance to wear it (see the pictures)
We learnt a great deal from their visit and were very grateful that they took the time to come and see us.
A big thank you to Thomas in Year 3. In April he wrote to Sir General Nick Carter and invited him to our school. We were delighted when Thomas received a response and some gfits. Although the General was not able to come to the school himself, he sent two of his colleagues instead. So well done and thank you Thomas, for arranging a wonderful morning.
