SCHOOL ORGANISATION
Westminster
Cathedral caters for children from 5-11 years and provides
continuous education without any big changes. The
Headteacher, teachers and support staff work together as a
team to provide progression and development for all the
children. It is a one form entry school, organised in year
groups with children born between September lst and the
following August 31st forming each year. The classes are of
mixed ability each with its own class teacher. The children
are taught as a class or in groups according to the subject
matter of the lesson and the needs, interests and abilities
of the children. Our support staff work in all the classes,
giving additional support to the pupils.

- Creative development (This area
which includes art, music, dance, role play, imaginative
play).
THE NATIONAL CURRICULUM

that all schools work within the framework of the
National Curriculum, spending a reasonable amount of
time studying certain subjects.
The National Curriculum is divided
