School Information

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our website. It aims to introduce you to our successful, friendly and high achieving Catholic school.

We are a popular school situated in the heart of London, with all the opportunities and challenges that face people living and working in one of the major capitals of the world. I have been the  head teacher of this successful school  since September 2016 having previously been deputy headteacher since 2008, I therefore know the school and the community we serve very well.

Our dedicated Staff, Governing Body and Local Community, strive to enable all members of Westminster Cathedral School to grow personally, academically, socially and spiritually, with God at the centre of our lives.

Our aim is to develop the whole person in an environment that is safe, calm and challenging. We live as a Catholic family, bound by the values of care, respect, trust, responsibility and achievement. Every child is special and unique, created in the image and likeness of God. This means that each child really does matter: we have the highest expectations for all children and help each of them reach their full potential. We achieve this by delivering a broad and rich curriculum that provides children with opportunities to explore, enquire and reflect.

Our recent RE Diocese Inspection October 2018 states that, "Teaching staff have high expectations of learners and plan with a wide range of individual learning needs in  mind." "Teaching and support staff create a warm and affirming environment for learners which impacts positively on learning and contributes to pupils' wellbeing." "The school's partnership arrangements have been a key focus for the school and as a result they are now outstanding. Strong links have been forged with parents, the local parish, diocese and other Catholic and community schools.

If you would like to learn more about our school please contact us.

Yours faithfully

Mrs A Stacey
